Description
Book cover created for an up coming novel by writer Steve Newman. Characters morph targets modeled with Poser and rendered with Alias Maya. Trees, sunset skyline clothing, hair, skin textures and special effects painted with Photoshop. There is much more detail than what you can see here.

But I like the Picture, shadows on the models; background with sky.

I also feel that the chacter's are set out from the rest of the picture. I'm not exactly sure what is causing that but it might be the color of the lighting on them. Though you did a good job with the shadow's, The light should perhap's be more red judging by the background coloration. I'm not sure if you had any constraint's when making this but in my personal opnion I would show all the way to the feet. Seeing feet would make the piece feel more grounded and I would connect the people with the background more.
One last thing to be picky about, the girl's hair does not have the soft line of connecting hair when it ememrges from the head. And it doesn't interact much with her face. This give's it a slight wig feel to me.
I don't have anything against poser and I hope I did not offend, I'm just critiquing becasuse the point of posting is to get critiques!
